Sarah and Trevor
an autumn stroll in the canyon
So my roomates and I took a walk up above Vivian Park in Provo Canyon two weeks ago, and it was totally gorgeous! I had way too much fun taking silly pictures :)
this is my roomate emily

little red :)

peek-a-boo!

so this picture is my favorite just because of the story behind it. So, we saw this gorgeous vibrant tree, and right next to it was this pathetic little stick with some black black leaves barely clinging on. Emily looks at it and says "Look! It's life and death!!" So...this is our interpretive picture of life and death :) If you look closely, you can see the litte dead black tree near Emily's head

i love this face:)

yeah for self timers :)

Oldies but Goodies!
I was looking through some of my pictures from this summer, and I just wanted to post a few of my favorites. Some of them I'm not sure why I like.....I just do!
Siletz Bay, OR..what a gorgeous place! And I absolutely loved the fog!

This was taken on the Oregon Coast in Newport City, It's really nothing spectacular, but it's another one of those ones I like just because.

Depoe Bay, Oregon. Another photograph that's not spectacular, but the scenery sure is!
I think this is a pretty good picture considering I took it through a dirty window....This is the view I had from my bedroom window one night at our rented house on the coast, gorgeous! I love the tree that was accross the street, what a character!

a cute little fellow I caught scurrying around at Newbury Crater in Oregon

I've been trying to learn to photograph water ever since I got my new camera, this is one of my first attempts at a moving stream, I think it worked out pretty well

I absolutely love this picture! WHY? Because these little blue butterflies you see are all over the mountains of Utah, but they are FAST little buggers! I've been trying since I was old enough to use a camera to get a picture of them, and ALAS!After all these years.....SUCCESS!

I'm not sure why I like this picture, I think it's because of the personality I captured in some of my roomates

a beautiful gerber daisy! I just love gerbers, they're so full of COLOR!!

a rose is a rose
So...it's 11:45 pm Sunday night. I have 15 minutes to kill before starting my homework, and how do i decide to use it? Oh of course! Trying desperatedly to capture the graceful beauty of some roses on my roomate's desk using terrible light!!! Yeah, you try using a desk lamp in a dark room to get a well-lit picture! anyway, here are a few shots I got. I'm not in love with them....but the whole point of this blog is for me to PRACTICE, and I definitely got some of that last night...and yes...i cheated with the water drops :) spray bottles are amazing!
