so, I realized a while ago that all I take are pictures of is Ethan, and I needed more practice with just regular old portraits! So....I convinced my old roommate Amanda to be my guinea pig and she let me take pictures of her today :)

Wow!!!
What an incredible trip I had this summer! I got to go visit Ben for a week in Georgia, and then I got to go with his family to Alaska for a week, and I loved every second of it! Here's just a brief snapshot of the trip.....

i really like this picture! so much color, and a great facial expression :) believe it or not, he actually DID like the smell of the flowers, though this picture taken right after he rose from smelling them suggesets otherwise

so i was at my aunts house standing on one side of her big fish tank, when i noticed my brother on the other side making faces....perfect photo opp :) this is not the world's best picture....but i love it and i couldnt resist putting it on here :)

oregon

so....I spent about a week in Oregon at the end of April, and while I was there got a few cool pictures.....

One night apparenly my Grandma's sprinklers went on, because we woke up and her yard was covered in ice! awesome.

so I was headed up the canyon with my roomates...and this is the view I was privledged with! Granted, I was taking the picture out the window of a moving car, so it's not a perfect picture, but it WAS a perfect sight :) it's beautiful :)
